In addition, co-op mode will be added to all versions, bar the 3DS and Vita. This allows a lot of replayability to the game and has been a requested item for some time.

Shovel Knight will also be rebranded to Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope to go with the new titles. Plague of Shadows will be released separately allowing players to go through Plague Knight’s campaign whenever they want. Specter of Torment allows players to take on the role of the reaper, which will change things up.
